How The Shower Manager Works
You Set the Shower Times
For maximum savings, your unit will arrive at the lowest time setting. Use the special magnet (provided in the box), to set the showering time by moving the magnet along a marked spot on the case. The unit will emit a beep or series of beeps. Each beep corresponds to a full-flow setting. Keep the magnet in a safe place. Follow this link for detailed installations instructions.

You Pick the Time that Works Best
The Shower Manager works by providing a full flow of water for a pre-set period of time that you choose (5, 8 or 11 Minutes) and cutting the flow significantly, when that time is up.
What Happens Next?
Before the time expires, there is an audible warning beep signaling that the water flow is about to be cut by 2/3. This Reduced-Flow is intended as a not-so-subtle reminder that time has expired, the reaming flow allows for a final rinse.
To prevent extending Full-Flow Mode, there is a 5 minute reset period that starts the moment the shower is shut off. During this time the Shower Manager will only deliver a low-flow of water and will not restart in Full-Flow Mode until after the water has been turned off for 5 minutes. Once the reset mode is complete, the Shower Manager is ready to manage the next shower.
To prevent timing issues, be sure to plan ahead and give yourself a full five minutes between showers.

Your unit comes installed with a 9 Volt battery, the type you find at the grocery or hardware store. Typical battery life is 6 to 12 months.

When the Shower Manager goes into restricted-flow mode, it does not alter the mixture of Hot / Cold water. That important function stays with your main shower (On / Off) valve.
